 Named for the Munroe Falls Dam, once part of the Cuyahoga River Dam System, Munroe Falls is rich in Northeast Ohio History. Currently, a lighted amphitheater and observation deck now sits alongside the Cuyahoga River where the dam once existed.

 As one of the 5,000 residents of the city, you can enjoy peaceful neighborhoods with beautiful homes, a safe city protected by a great police and fire squad, and a close-knit community offering civic events, a Summer Farmer’s Market, a library, and more.

With its beautiful, treed parks with playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, and access to the Metro Park Hike and Bike Trail, the city is a fantastic place to raise a family. The Stow-Munroe Falls School district, in fact, is an excellent school system catering to all children from the city and the neighboring city of Stow.

 Munroe Falls is always growing, too. In fact, a Town Center is planned for the near future, providing an attractive building with a clock tower and storefronts to residents and visitors.

 Just minutes to Akron, Ohio and less than an hour to Cleveland, Munroe Falls is close to plenty of recreation, restaurants, night life, hospitals, and the University of Akron, and isn’t far from Kent State University, in nearby Portage County.

 With everything that Munroe Falls offers, and its close proximity to Route 8, I-77, and I-76, the city proves to be rich in charm and history, while also offering its residents an easy way to maneuver around the city.
